TOP STORY: Guehi targeted by United, Arsenal
Manchester United and Arsenal will battle it out for the signature of Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi, according to the Times.
The 23-year-old England international is reported to have been scouted by both clubs this season, with the Red Devils prioritising signing a defender when the transfer window opens.
It is believed that an offer worth at least £55 million would be required to land Guehi, which would be a record fee received by the Eagles after Aaron Wan-Bissaka's £50m move to Old Trafford in 2019. Any accepted offer could also be matched by Chelsea, which included a clause in their deal when Guehi moved from Stamford Bridge to Palace in 2021.
Guehi has made 22 Premier League appearances this season, but he made the decision to undergo knee surgery in February amid hopes of being in contention to earn a place in the England squad for the European Championship this summer.

PAPER GOSSIP
- Bayern Munich could be willing to allow midfielder Joshua Kimmich to join Barcelona, reports Sport. The Blaugrana have been one of the clubs linked with interest in him of late, but any move looks to depend on whether the 29-year-old decides to sign a contract extension at the Allianz Arena. Kimmich's current deal is set to expire in 2025, and the latest indicates that his club will look to offload him if there are no signs of reaching an agreement.
- AC Milan have dismissed the chance to sign Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva, reports Team Talk. The 39-year-old is set to leave Stamford Bridge when his contract expires at the end of the season, and it is reported that the Rossoneri have decided not to make a move for him after evaluating whether he could be a strong fit for their side. Fluminense are believed to be leading the race to sign the Brazilian veteran.
- Clubs in the Saudi Pro League remain keen on signing Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah this summer, according to Football Insider. The Reds are said to be "braced" to receive offers for the 31-year-old's signature when the transfer window opens, with Salah set to enter the final year of his contract. Offers are reported to be set to start at around £100m but could raise to £150m.
- A move for Torino striker Duván Zapata is being prepared by Cruz Azul, writes Fabrizio Romano. It is reported that a proposal worth €14m is set to be offered to the Serie A side, which will soon make a decision on whether to let him go. Zapata has been a key player for Il Toro this season, having contributed to 15 goals in 31 matches.
- Borussia Dortmund are interested in Juventus centre-back Dean Huijsen, according to Nicolo Schira. The 19-year-old has made 14 appearances across all competitions this season while on loan at AS Roma, with performances that have caught the attention of BVB. He remains contracted with the Bianconeri until the summer of 2028.
