TOP STORY: Davies to reject Bayern amid Real Madrid interest

Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies does not want to accept a new deal with the club, which makes a move to Real Madrid increasingly likely, per Christian Falk.

Davies has played a vital role for Thomas Tuchel's side this season, featuring 31 times in all competitions, notching one goal and three assists. However, his precarious contractual situation leaves Bayern vulnerable to losing their star defender.

It is reported that Davies could leave the Bavarian outfit this summer, with Bayern offering the Canada international €14m per year, falling short of Davies' demand of €20m per year. With the 23-year-old under contract with the German champions until 2025, Bayern could be forced to part ways with the defender this summer to ensure that he does not leave as a free agent in 2025.

Real Madrid have reportedly been monitoring the situation and could be ready to strike this summer. Davies joined Bayern in January 2019 from Vancouver Whitecaps and has emerged as one of the best left-backs in the world, which has alerted several clubs to his situation. It has been reported that Davies has already reached a verbal agreement with Los Blancos, with the Canadian's departure from the Bavarian club looking increasingly likely.

- AC Milan are hopeful of securing a deal for Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram, suggests La Gazzetta dello Sport. It is reported that Milan hold an interest in the 23-year-old and are hoping their chances of finalizing a move are increased by the fact that his brother, Marcus, plies his trade with Internazionale, which could give a chance for the brothers to reconnect in Milan. Whilst the €40m price tag could prove problematic, the report indicates that with Thuram's contract at Nice expiring in 2025, Nice could drop their asking price to ensure he does not leave as a free agent in 2025.

- Manchester United are interested in Nice defender Jean Clair-Todibo, per Fabrizio Romano. The tweet indicates that Nice value the 24-year-old at €40m, with several clubs in Europe monitoring the France international. Whilst Manchester United hold an interest, it is reported that several other Premier League clubs have joined the race, which could see the defender depart Nice this summer.

- Juventus winger Samuel Iling-Junior could be on the move this summer, per Fabrizio Romano. It is reported that clubs from Italy and England hold an interest in the 20-year-old. The England youth international is under contract with the Turin club until 2025, however, with no active talks over a new deal, Juventus could cash in on the youngster this summer to ensure he does not leave as a free agent in 2025.

- Crystal Palace are facing competition from Atletico Madrid for Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera, reveals the Evening Standard. The 19-year-old has caught the eye of the Eagles who made an approach in January. The teenager is under contract with Valencia until 2026, however, with the report suggesting that several clubs in Europe are monitoring the defender, Mosquera could be on the move this summer. The report indicates that Atletico Madrid are hopeful that a significant increase in his wages could be enough to tempt Mosquera to the Spanish capital.

- Juventus could attempt to strike a deal for Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham this summer, suggest Calciomercato. The report reveals that the Turin giants were close to securing a deal for his brother, Jude, but they will now try to ensure they finalize a move for Jobe, who has endured a fruitful season with Sunderland, netting six goals and one assist in the Championship this season. It is reported that dialogue between the parties has already begun with Juventus paying close attention to the situation.
