Thanks very much for this podcast. Very informative!!!
Pretty cool stuff!
So practical, useful, and inspiring! Thanks.
hi!
it is difficult to put any size of footage on my”facebook” page
@tengiz; put it up on a film page and then link it! This is a great interview; I typed out the five tips and links and I’m sending it all to my agent. We’re looking to make the Desert Peach into a film or animation, after all these years of fans wanting it.
We have found ourselves stalled out in terms of continuing to build a fan base, in fact we have been losing some. How can we continue to “invite” more fans other then relying on those that are currently fans? Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks for a great interview. I am wondering how strategic your facebook posts are…Do you come up with a plan first? Or do you just post stuff as you go along and have new content?
Thanks for all your comments. It’s cool to see people beginning to understand how important social media, especially facebook is to building an audience for your films. It’s free and easy and really quite fun once you get into it. We love to just sit over coffee and think about ways to engage our audience. We try to do something each day, whether it’s writing to new “Likers”, creating new content, or responding to people who post. It was so new when we started, there was no way to plan. Now I could write a book – maybe I will. The best way to find new fans is to search out niche market pages and establish a relationship. For example, we found “Stang Nation” because we have a Mustang in our film and it’s brought us a ton of new fans who are excited about our film. It’s really a never ending process that starts to take on a life of it’s own.
Re “Walk of Death” – I can think of a million ideas, especially as you head out to festivals. You could easily have 3,000 fans in a month. Get in touch.
Thanks for the great information. It helped us take our Docu Drama to new level of interest. Very relative for today’s social media and viral marketing that we’re doing!
For some reason I could not play the audio. I really wanted to listen to
Linda Nelson. Have no idea what happened.

@Machete – I just tested it and it works for me. Turn your volume up maybe? (that’s what I had to do…).
